Your 40s will humble you and free you at the same time.
I’m 48. I have two adult kids and my first grandchild coming in August. I started building wealth in my 40s and I’ve rebuilt from scratch more than once. I began traveling the world at 40 and haven’t stopped moving since.
None of this happened on anybody else’s timeline. None of it is supposed to.
The older I get, the less comparison makes sense to me. Even if we’re in the same age group, we’re not on the same journey.
Somebody is just now starting over. Somebody is finally saying yes to themselves. Somebody is taking their first solo trip. Somebody is planting seeds at 48 that possibly won’t bloom until 52, and they’re not behind. That’s just their season.
Live your life.
