Bark Run Walk - Sunday 5th Jul 2026 in Knysna
The only Knysna Oyster Festival event where our four-legged family members are part of the fun!

Join us for a relaxed, dog-friendly fun run or walk in support of Knysna Animal Welfare (KAWS). Whether you run, stroll, or simply come along for the atmosphere, everyone is welcome, with or without dogs.

Enjoy the scenic beauty of Leisure Island along a marked 5km route, with participants free to complete it at their own pace during the four-hour event window.

Tucked along the iconic St Blaize Trail, the St Blaize Cave is where Mossel Bay’s ancient past meets breathtaking coastal beauty.
Look closely - just above the cave, the rock face reveals a natural formation that looks remarkably like a human face, watching over the ocean. This photo was captured by our Law Enforcement team during foot patrols, supporting community safety and managing street-based communities in the area.

Next time you’re on the trail, take a moment… you might spot it too.
