On Sunday, Cape Town was under an Orange Level 8 weather warning.

But with guests arriving at the Cape Town Cruise Terminal for just one day, we decided to get an early start and see what the day had in store for us.

We collected them at 7am and headed towards SANParks - Table Mountain National Park. At first, it looked gloomy and as though we wouldn’t get the chance to go up at all. We took a slow drive along the mountain roads hoping to at least get some beautiful photos, and then the clouds suddenly started to clear.

The first cable car ride was at 08:30 and we grabbed the opportunity immediately.

Thanks to the weather, there were no queues and no waiting time. By the time we reached the top, it was absolutely freezing, but being able to show our guests one of Cape Town’s most iconic landmarks made it completely worth it.

After that, we made our way to Signal Hill. The wind was pumping, but the views were incredible.

We then visited Sanccob Saves Seabirds for a facility tour and got to witness the amazing work they do there.

From incubating abandoned eggs to caring for fledglings while they learn to swim and develop their waterproofing, it was such a special experience to see firsthand how much care goes into protecting our seabirds.

One fact that really stayed with us: if the current decline continues, the African Penguin could be extinct by 2035.

Despite the weather warnings, Cape Town still gave our guests a memorable day.

Thanks Carla Toro for choosing our services and for allowing us the opportunity to spend the day with you.

An important update from Tash Tours ✨

Over the past few months, we’ve done everything we can to keep our pricing unchanged, absorbing the steady rise in diesel costs in order to continue offering the same high-quality service you know and trust.

Unfortunately, with the continued increase, it’s no longer sustainable for us to delay this any further.

As a result, we’ve had to implement a rate adjustment across our services. This decision was not made lightly, but it allows us to continue delivering the reliable, comfortable, and personalised experiences that define Tash Tours.

We are incredibly grateful for your continued support and understanding — it truly means the world to us. 🤍

Thank you for choosing to travel with us.

Whale season is coming and Hermanus is about to show off.

From June to November, the incredible Southern Right Whale arrives along the coast of Hermanus and this is not your average wildlife sighting, they come right up close.

Think breaching whales, tail slaps, and unforgettable ocean views in the calm waters of Walker Bay.

Why you should book this experience:
• See whales just meters from the shore or even closer by boat
• One of the best whale nurseries in the world
• Easy, scenic day trip from Cape Town
• Bonus sightings of dolphins, seals and other coastal wildlife

Make a full day of it:
Travel along the breathtaking Clarence Drive, one of the most scenic coastal routes in the world, and stop at Stony Point Nature Reserve to see a colony of endangered African Penguin up close.

Best time to go: August to October (peak activity)

Spots fill up quickly during peak season, especially for the best viewing days.

Want to experience it without the stress of planning
Send us a message and we will take care of the rest.
