Wedgewood DMC Africa was proud to manage the conference for the Royal Academy of Engineering's Africa Prize, hosted at NH Johannesburg Sandton from Friday through to Thursday.

From celebrating this year’s outstanding winners to enjoying the energy and entertainment brought by MC Bryan Habana, it was a week filled with inspiring conversations, remarkable achievements and meaningful connections.

A special moment for our Wedgewood team, whose dedication and attention to detail helped bring this prestigious event to life.

We recently visited the new Marriott Hotels Cape Town EDITION at the V&A Waterfront Capetown to explore the space and see what it has to offer for future events, meetings and incentive programmes.

A big thank you to Ghowa De Roos and Kyle for taking the time to show us around and share more about this exciting addition to Cape Town’s hospitality scene. It was a pleasure seeing the venue first-hand!

As we continue exploring experiences in Kenya, today we’re taking a closer look at KOBE TOUGH, a Nairobi-based social enterprise creating beautiful handmade jewellery and leather goods.

From hand-painted ceramic beads to carefully crafted leather pieces, each product reflects the creativity and skill of the artisans behind it. But there’s a much bigger story behind the beautiful work.

Kobe Tough supports single mothers, orphans and widows in Kenya, helping to develop artistic skills and create opportunities to earn a fair wage through their craft.
