The number one question we get: what if there's no snow?

Fair question. Here's why it's not a concern on this trip.

Globe Wander Africa only recommends places we've personally been to and vetted. Afriski made the cut for 3 reasons:

1. Snow-making system is one of Africa's most advanced.
2. We've watched it produce a skiable slope during a low-snow year.
3. We know what June at 3,200m feels like.
Peak winter at that altitude is cold enough to hold snow.

We've been there in those conditions.
We chose these dates on purpose.
