Ever wondered what happens behind the scenes of conservation in Kruger National Park? 🦏🚁

Our new video takes you inside a side of Kruger that most visitors never get to see — from rhino conservation and helicopter flights to guided bush walks and the work being done to protect some of Africa’s most iconic wildlife.

In July 2027, BBT Adventures, together with the SANParks Honorary Rangers Conservation Unit, will be offering this experience to a small group of guests.

Depending on conservation priorities on the day, the conservation operation may involve a rhino dehorning or elephant tusk-management procedure.

The experience is full board and includes accommodation, all meals and drinks, game drives, guided bush walks, the conservation experience and helicopter flight.

🌍 International guests outside SADC: US$5,500 / €4,900 per person, including return flights from OR Tambo to Skukuza Airport.

🇿🇦 SADC guests: from R57,000 per person

👥 Groups of 6 or more qualify for a discounted rate.

Each camp accommodates only 20 guests.

💍🚙 From Wedding to Wilderness – Part 1 is now LIVE!

We might have taken the idea of a family holiday a little too far this time! 😂

After Michael and Maddison’s wedding in the South African bush, we packed four 4x4s and headed north with family and friends for an overlanding adventure through Botswana and Zimbabwe. 🇿🇦🇧🇼🇿🇼

From elephants at Elephant Sands and incredible wildlife at Masuma Dam in Hwange National Park, to border delays, a flat tyre and finally the thundering Victoria Falls — this was one for the books!

And what better way to finish Part 1 than seeing Victoria Falls from a helicopter? 🚁

🦏 A symbol of hope for Africa’s wildlife.

Seeing this magnificent White Rhino at Khama Rhino Sanctuary was one of the highlights of our journey through Botswana. Even more special was seeing it with its horn still intact—a powerful reminder of why conservation efforts are so important.

Rhinos have roamed Africa for millions of years, yet today they remain under constant threat from poaching and habitat loss. Sanctuaries like Khama Rhino Sanctuary play a vital role in protecting these incredible animals and ensuring future generations have the opportunity to see them in the wild.

Every visit to a conservation area, every responsible safari and every person who values wildlife contributes to protecting these species and the ecosystems they call home.

Let’s continue to support conservation, respect wildlife and preserve Africa’s natural heritage for generations to come.

🦊 The Black-backed Jackal – one of Africa’s most intelligent survivors.

While lions and leopards often steal the spotlight, it’s animals like the Black-backed Jackal that remind us just how fascinating the African bush really is.

This beautiful jackal was spotted in the heart of Savuti, Chobe National Park, quietly moving through the landscape with its sharp senses on full alert. Opportunistic, intelligent and incredibly adaptable, Black-backed Jackals are skilled hunters and scavengers, playing an important role in maintaining the balance of the ecosystem.

One of the joys of exploring Botswana is that every game drive offers something different. Sometimes it’s a pride of lions, sometimes it’s a leopard in the trees, and sometimes it’s a moment like this that reminds you to appreciate all of Africa’s incredible wildlife.

🦁❤️ Some of the best memories aren’t measured by the wildlife you see, but by the people you share them with.

Savuti has been everything we hoped it would be and more. Over the past few days we’ve been fortunate enough to see lions, a leopard, elephants and so much incredible wildlife in one of Botswana’s most iconic destinations.

But as amazing as those sightings were, the real highlight has been spending this adventure together as a family. From celebrating my brother’s marriage to his wonderful Australian wife, to introducing both families to the beauty of Botswana, these are memories we’ll cherish for a lifetime.

The campfires, the game drives, the laughter, the stories, and the quiet moments watching the African bush come alive have reminded us what travel is really about. It’s not just the places you visit—it’s the people beside you who make the journey unforgettable.

Thank you, Savuti, for the incredible wildlife, breathtaking landscapes and memories that will stay with us forever. Botswana, you’ve captured our hearts once again.

🐆 A leopard in Savuti… what an unforgettable experience!

Some safari moments stay with you forever, and this was definitely one of them.

While exploring the legendary Savuti region of Chobe National Park, Botswana, we were incredibly fortunate to spot one of Africa’s most elusive predators—a magnificent leopard. Watching it move effortlessly through the bush was a reminder of just how special these wild places are.

Savuti has truly exceeded every expectation on this trip. From unforgettable lion sightings to this incredible leopard encounter, Botswana continues to prove why it is one of the greatest safari destinations in the world.

If you’ve ever dreamed of experiencing Africa’s wildlife at its finest, put Savuti and Chobe National Park at the top of your list. You never know what you’ll discover around the next corner.

🦁 What an incredible way to end our stay in Savuti!

Today marks our final day in the legendary Savuti, deep within Chobe National Park, Botswana, and it couldn’t have ended on a better note. During the night, we had lions, a leopard and hyenas visiting camp—a true reminder that this is one of Africa’s wildest and most spectacular places.

From unforgettable lion sightings to incredible wildlife encounters and breathtaking landscapes, Savuti has once again exceeded every expectation. It’s a place that captures your heart and keeps calling you back.

🦁 An unforgettable sighting in Savuti!

Just when we thought the day couldn’t get any better, we came across two magnificent brother lions in Savuti, deep within Chobe National Park, Botswana.

Moments like these remind us why Botswana is one of the best safari destinations in the world. Watching these powerful brothers together in their natural habitat is something we’ll never forget.
