🌊 A Forage Freedive with the @veldandsea Mermaids🌊
This past Sunday, @khoiscouts_and_seadogs joined forces with the incredible @veldandsea mermaids for an unforgettable forage freedive adventure.
☀️ With the Indian Ocean at a warm 21°C and a gentle South Westerly wind guiding us, we dived into a world teeming with life. Exploring vibrant kelp forests, foraging for alikreukels and mussels.
🐙 The magic of the day? Discovering a community of octopus dens—each tucked into their own little sanctuary, yet all in close proximity. A true glimpse into the wonders of the underwater world.
Moments like these remind us of the deep connection we share with the ocean and the abundance it offers when we approach it with respect and curiosity.
