No ocean experience. Just a little courage and a willingness to try something new 🌊

For this group of divers, it was their very first time snorkeling in the ocean.
There were nervous laughs, some wetsuit wrangling, lots of questions and a few deep breaths… and then slowly, everyone started finding their rhythm. 🤿
From taking those first hesitant dips to exploring the kelp forest, watching the confidence grow was pretty special.

Because they absolutely found their groove.
Then came the underwater world. Sunlight dancing through the kelp, marine life popping up around us, and for a moment, it honestly felt like we’d stumbled through a little portal into another world 🧜🏽‍♀️🪸🐠✨

Safe to say, they left wanting more 🌀🌊

What better way to celebrate World Marine Protected Day than by experiencing the magic of a Marine Protected Area firsthand? 🌊
This week, we welcomed a small group of young people from Ocean View aboard an eco-tour through the incredible waters of False Bay. In partnership with SHARK EXPLORERS and Simon's Town Museum , the day was filled with discovery, curiosity, and a deeper appreciation for the ocean that connects us all.

We intentionally kept the group small, believing that meaningful experiences happen through genuine connection, creating space to learn, ask questions, and build lasting relationships with both nature and each other.

Because protecting our oceans starts with inspiring the people who will shape their future. 💙
