❄ SNOW ON THE GROUND: This shows where there was still snow later in the day yesterday, and while some would have melted this morning it gives a good idea where it can be found. In South Africa snow can be reached in the Swartberg/Kokstad area, and especially around Lady Grey, Barkly East and Rhodes. In Lesotho it is quite widespread but we don't suggest heading that way without a 4x4 vehicle as the roads will be quite challenging. See our page for updates through the day. Please respect private property and don't climb over fences.
