❄️ SANI PASS SNOW UPDATE ❄️

It’s all hands on deck on the Sani Pass today!

Tour guides, local tour operators and border management are currently working together to clear sections of the road by hand, using shovels and salt to make conditions safer.

At present, Whiskey Corner is the safest turning point, however the Sani Pass REMAINS CLOSED until further notice.

A huge thank you to everyone out there working together in some very cold and challenging conditions to get the pass safely reopened.🙏❄️

We’ll continue to share updates as the situation changes. Keep following our page for the latest information on the Sani Pass.

📣Update: The snow at the top of Sani Pass is approximately 40cm deep this morning. It is apparently still snowing but very lightly. We will share any feedback from SA Border Management regarding the road reopening as soon as we have any further updates!
