Some journeys are extra special – especially when they’re for returning clients like Wendy, who I’ve had the absolute pleasure of working with before 🥰

This year, they're heading off on a festive December adventure we’ve carefully crafted together – a blend of snowy landscapes, cultural gems, and unforgettable family moments.

The journey begins in Iceland with Northern Lights chasing, a private Golden Circle tour, and time to unwind at the Sky Lagoon. We've even got Viking pony rides for the ladies and snowmobiling for the gents 😎

Next stop: Edinburgh, full of castles and cobbled charm, followed by a few days in London – just in time for a very special evening at the London International Horse Show.

This one is for my intrepid Europhiles, looking for something diferent.

I’ve been lucky enough to visit some of Europe’s most iconic spots (many times in most cases 🤩), but often those aren't the ones that stay with me. Don't get me wrong - I love me some Pantheon or Eiffel Tower (every. single. time.) ... but I truly love discovering places that are a little off the main route.

The places you stumble upon and then can’t stop talking about. Quiet villages, under-the-radar beach towns that rival famous spots, and countries that seem to have all the soul and character of bigger neighbours, but none of the tourists. Plus, these spots offer such good value-for-the-Rand!

This is the Europe I love, where we can really create magic, and you can say "I went there first" 😉.

Even as someone who travels for a living, New York threw me on night one. It was loud, chaotic, and I felt so much pressure to see everything and love every second. I nearly let it win.

But then I leaned in.

I had a day with local friends avoiding any massive tourist sights. Discovered the West Village. Then I (confidently 😁) missed a subway stop and ended up walking the Brooklyn Bridge (worth it). Found a hidden gem lunch spot on Staten Island. Paused at the 9/11 memorial. Wandered to Flatiron and stopped to rest tired feet (ok, and have an Aperol) after 21 500 steps.

And then, the smell of rigatoni at the next table convinced me to stay and have my own. So I swapped the Aperol for a Montepulciano, tucked in, and just exhaled... no pressure.

That’s the magic of solo travel — the freedom to follow your feet, change your mind, stay for pasta, and let the day unfold as it will.

This is how I travel: wandering, watching, eating, drinking… and being open to whatever comes next. I'm a pretty bad tourist, but the feeling of a city is how I operate.

And there's a definite love story growing here 🥰😋

For those that don’t know me, I have over 15 years of experience in the events and group travel industry, and am a passionate traveller myself - making me the perfect person to arrange all of your holiday plans. From quick local breaks, honeymoons, corporate incentives and cruises to extreme adventure travel such as following the Tour de France or climbing Everest, I am your girl! ✈️😊
