The Transkei Slowride is a 5-day mountain biking trail through the former Transkei homeland of the Eastern Cape, South Africa. The trail begins in the southern Drakensberg mountains and follows the drainages of the Tsitsa, Tina and Umzimvubu rivers to the Wild Coast near Port St Johns. The trail promises unrivalled scenery from the grassy uplands, through dramatic gorges to the jungle and beaches at the coast, and a unique cycling experience with overnight stops in spectacular locations.
