The Thunder Tour 2026 made a noisy pitstop in Christiana today, Monday 3 August 2026. After kicking off in Pretoria on 2 August, drivers and their machines rolled into Q's Pub parking lot at 12 Pretorius Street with a lineup of muscle cars, street rods, rat rods, and supercars. Locals turned out in numbers to check out the cars, meet the drivers, and soak up the atmosphere before the convoy fired up again.

On display were some real head-turners. Highlights included a dark grey Mustang with American flag livery, a blue striped Mustang, a red Mustang GT, a matte black rat rod, a silver Chevy Lumina SS with "BUMPER1" plates, and a white Chevy C10 bakkie branded for the tour. Each car brought its own style and sound, showing the mix that makes The Thunder Tour special.

From Christiana, the tour continued to Kimberley as part of its 7-day run across South Africa. The drivers will cover hundreds of kilometers before the tour wraps up in Bloubergstrand. Christiana gave them a proper welcome, and the next towns can expect the same thunder.
