Secunda - 🌿 Hospice Week 4–10 May 2026🌿
Hospice Week is a special time when communities come together to recognise the importance of palliative care and to honour the compassion, dedication, and support that make hospice care possible every day.
At House of Mercy Hospice in Secunda, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed, visited, supported, and helped make this week so meaningful.
On 7 May 2026, during Hospice Awareness Week and Workers’ Month, we especially honoured our caregivers and healthcare workers whose daily dedication brings comfort, dignity, and hope to so many patients and families.
A sincere thank you to everyone who played a part in making the day memorable:

A special poem was also shared in appreciation of our caregivers as they continued with their daily duties and compassionate care for patients.
House of Mercy Hospice is looking forward to another special gathering on 23 May 2026, where patients and families will celebrate birthdays together and share more meaningful moments as a community.
