Over 1000 KW of power is being sold daily and I can only assume that the government is netting in over 270 million dollars per day. My reference is the 27 million dollars PF was spending to buy power from the Indian ocean per day and if not, we need to why and how much is the government making and where the money is going.
If this be true the government is making in excess of 3.2 billion dollars per year.

The ministry of Energy is failing the country big time. It's like the minister of energy, simply goes to drink tea and swing his chair at the expense of ordinary people of Zambia.
Fuel has been going down from November at international market, just last month alone, we saw a decrease in price of about 15% and yet our fuel went up in the Month of November and has only gone down by about K2 in the month of January.
Now the ministry's mortal is cost reflective but facts on the ground shows otherwise why%? Who is eating the savings from the differences in costs arising from the pricing index they are giving us.
Fuel and electricity are currently crucial to the wheels of any economy and government cannot be playing with our lives like that as no economy in the world big or small is not in control of fuel prices directly or indirectly.
I therefore demand for change in the rules or policies applying currently on the fuel prices this year. please increase stocks of fuel to cover at list 6 to 12 months of import cover to ensure consistency in the price of fuel. While the private sector continues it's roll of supplying fuel in the market government should ve strategic reserve covering a specific period that will ensure fare play and consistency.

Nullification not disqualification
The con-court has continued to enjoy majority of judges who sold there loyalty to individuals and not the people of Zambia.
And HH aka bally did not sweep con-court and now look at the out come of this simple and clear case.
According to Cambridge university dictionary, disqualification means "taking away" ie a position while nullification is an act of "cancelling something" ie a position and this is why article 72 of the laws of Zambia goes on to say any one who causes a vacancy is not qualified to contest on that sit.
But in the wisdom of the con-court the two words differ and is ground enough to allow a person whose sit is nullified on grounds of breaching the same law can contest.
My God what president are we setting for our country.
PF has always rushed to con-court because that is it's baby and they ve invested in it a lot for those 5 judges to uphold the rule of law.
Aka bally sweep because Zambia is bigger than names.
