Viking Houseboat $350 per night dry rate
HULL: Dolphin.
LENGTH: 16 metres or 52 feet.
ENGINES: 2 x Yanmar Diesel Inboards.
CRUISING SPEED: 10 knots.
POWER SUPPLY: 5 KVA solar system with a backup 13KVA generator.
NO. OF PASSENGERS: 4 for comfort but 8 max pax.
CREW: Captain, Cook & 1 Deckhand.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Viking is a charming houseboat suitable for smaller groups. The cabins, bathrooms as well
as the kitchen are located below deck. The entertainment area is on the Upper Deck, as this provides a lovely breezy area which is furnished with chairs and cushions. Viking has 2 cabins, with the 1ª cabin having a double bed with an en-suite bathroom. Cabin 2 has twin beds, with a shared bathroom. A gas geyser provides virtually instant hot water. Viking also has a good sized Bermuda Deck at the rear of the boat, giving easy entry and exit on to the tender boats.
EXTRA FACILITIES: Air conditioning. DSTV. Mosquito nets, life jackets, landing net and keep net are provided. Square plug are on board, so guests need to bring their own adaptors. There is also a charcoal/wood braai but guests need to bring their own firewood/charcoal.
TENDER BOATS: 1 Falcon speed boat.
COLD SPACE: 4 deep freezers.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Catering, ice, rod hire, tackle purchase and bait can be organised at an extra cost. All fuels used is for the client's account and has to be settled on completion of the cruise.
MOORING: Marineland Harbour - Overnight parking available at an additional cost of USD5 per day.
BOARDING: from 12 noon
DISEMBARKING: 10:00a.m
