It's never a small world for a Filipino. With a weak passport, cheap salary, and a low exchange rate for our currency, these are just a few things that contribute to making traveling in a first-world country like Europe remain a distant dream for most.

I recognize how fortunate I am to be able to visit different countries and meet people from different walks of life. I share my travels not to self-promote or make anyone envious of me, but rather to simply showcase these incredible and amazing places I have had the opportunity to visit.

But what I am actually saying is kitang mga asian gwapa ta sailahang mga mata Daghan ug willing mo libre sa atoa. Ayaw kaayo kabalaka. Go dhai travel!

In all seriousness, I sincerely wish that many Filipinos would attempt to travel solo. Simply put, the experience differs too much from traveling with friends. You make an effort to become friends with strangers, which is totally outside of your comfort zone. And I acknowledge it’s draining and exhausting but good lord it’s so fulfilling.

A dream come true.
