My second time at Ba Na Hills, and it’s just as crazy as I remembered! 🤯

It’s one of those places you really have to experience for yourself. One minute you’re gliding above the mountains on one of the world’s longest cable cars, the next you’re walking across the iconic Golden Bridge, before stumbling across gardens, castles, cafés, rides and views that seem to go on forever.

Is it a little surreal? Absolutely.
Is it worth a visit? Without a doubt.

A few tips from me:
✨ Get there early for the Golden Bridge.
✨ Allow a full day – there’s so much more than people realise.
✨ If you’re travelling with kids, they’ll have an absolute blast.

Vietnam just keeps surprising me, and this place is always one I’ll recommend adding to your itinerary.

Danang - Golden beaches, amazing food, incredible value and so much for families to enjoy.

💦 Mikazuki Water Park 365 was a huge hit with the kids (and adults too!). Indoor and outdoor slides, wave pools and a Japanese-inspired setting make it perfect, whatever the weather.

🌴 We also spent time at two fantastic beach clubs:
• Kala Kala Beach Club – stylish pool, fantastic cocktails, great food and a fun atmosphere that works just as well for families during the day as it does for sunset drinks. Kalà Kalà Beach Club
• Esco Beach – relaxed beachfront dining with stunning views over My Khe Beach, delicious food and an easy-going vibe that made it one of our favourite places to unwind. Esco Beach, Bar Lounge & Restaurant

From morning swims to sunset cocktails, beach walks, fresh seafood and endless Vietnamese coffee, Da Nang has the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure.

If you’re looking for a destination that offers luxury without the price tag, incredible food, beautiful beaches and plenty to keep the whole family entertained, Da Nang should be high on your list.

Sometimes called the “Ha Long Bay on land,” Ninh Binh is one of those places that quietly steals your heart. 🌿💚

Drift through limestone mountains on a traditional sampan, cycle past endless rice paddies, discover ancient temples, and watch water buffalo grazing as the sun sets over the countryside. It feels like stepping into another world.

If you’re planning a trip to Vietnam, don’t rush through Ninh Binh. Spend a few nights, slow down, and soak it all in—you’ll be so glad you did. We had 3 nights but definitely could have stayed much longer!

✨ My top recommendations:
🚲 Cycle through the Tam Coc countryside
🚣 Take a boat ride through Trang An or Tam Coc
🏯 Visit the ancient capital of Hoa Lu
⛰️ Climb to the Mua Cave viewpoint for unforgettable panoramic views
🍜 Enjoy fresh local goat dishes and crispy rice, two of Ninh Binh’s specialities

This was easily one of my favourite stops in Vietnam, and it’s a destination I’d recommend to anyone looking for breathtaking scenery and a more authentic side of the country.

We finished our Vietnam adventure with four unforgettable days in Hanoi.

Wandering around Hoàn Kiếm Lake, exploring Đồng Xuân Market, discovering hidden cafés, crossing Long Biên Bridge and enjoying some incredible food.

A special mention to L’Heritage Premium Central Hotel—the location was perfect, the team couldn’t have been more welcoming, and they went out of their way to make our stay memorable.

Hanoi has an energy that’s hard to describe… chaotic, colourful, historic and full of incredible food. A brilliant end to an amazing three weeks in Vietnam. ❤️🇻🇳
