Etihad Airways has announced a partnership with Abu Dhabi’s Department of Culture and Tourism to provide free travel health insurance for international visitors. The insurance, offered in collaboration with Daman, will be available from July through December and will automatically cover eligible passengers arriving in Abu Dhabi on Etihad-operated flights.

Visitors can stay in the UAE for up to 15 days under the coverage, and no separate application is required, as the insurance is automatically included with eligible Etihad tickets.

The offer is available to passengers whose journey originates and is purchased outside the UAE and who travel to Abu Dhabi on an Etihad-operated flight. Travelers using Etihad’s complimentary stopover program are also eligible and will receive insurance coverage for the entire duration of their stay.
