New Visa Uae Rules – Background & Overview
The new visa rule is officially referred to as the UAE Entry and Residence Scheme. The main objective behind this new scheme (with 10 types of visa reforms) is to offer more resourceful choices and enhanced flexibility for those traveling to the UAE for diverse purposes including tourism, job search, business etc. The new rule is also beneficial for the UAE residents as the eligibility criteria for the 10-year Golden Visa has now been relieved with the possibility of its easy renewal, thus attracting more beneficiaries like entrepreuners, investors, and creative minds to settle down in the UAE.
Till October 2022, people traveling to Dubai for tourism didn’t have a dedicated visa for the purpose and they mostly applied for a 30-day visa. But, according to the new visa reforms, visitors can now apply for a 60 days tourist visa. As with other types of visas, it too indicates an official permit that allows its holders to enter the UAE. It may be a short-term visa, but the renewed changes will give you more convenience and time (i.e. 60 days) to explore Dubai’s mix of leisure, shopping, entertainment and sightseeing attractions. This is, apparently, double-fold the previously allowed duration of just 30 days.
