We had an incredible time in South Africa 🇿🇦 for the Christmas holidays. We spent a few days in Cape Town, a 2-night safari near Kruger National Park and then off to the Cape Winelands with legit summer weather. Huge shout out to my friend and travel counselor Tanya Robinson for planning a bucket list vacation that will no doubt give us precious memories for years to come.

So many beautiful views, it was a challenge to take a “bad” picture. With over 800 photos in our shared family album, here were some of my personal favorites.

Can’t believe it’s been this long since I wandered through the magical streets of Istanbul — a city where continents meet, and history breathes through every stone.

There’s something different about Istanbul. It’s not just the architecture or the food (though the baklava definitely deserves its own paragraph) — it’s the energy. The call to prayer echoing across the Bosphorus, the blend of East and West, old and new, sacred and everyday life all woven together.

I spent three unforgettable days exploring — from sipping Turkish tea overlooking the Bosphorus, to getting lost in the Grand Bazaar, and standing in awe inside the Hagia Sophia. That place radiates centuries of faith, art, and transformation — you feel the weight of history in the air.
If you ever get the chance, visit Istanbul. Go for the views, stay for the spirit.
