Another long weekend is coming… and honestly, the only sensible plan is pool, cold drink, repeat.

🌄 DISCOVERING MORZINE IN SUMMER
Most people picture the French Alps covered in snow, but Morzine in August completely surprised us — in the best possible way. This summer we swapped Dubai heat for mountain air and spent a week exploring this gorgeous alpine town with our three girls. We absolutely fell in love with it.

🏠 STAYING IN THE HEART OF MORZINE
We stayed in a lovely modern apartment right in the centre. Every morning started with fresh croissants, cool mountain breezes and paragliders drifting over the hills. The perfect mix of calm and adventure.

🎢 FAMILY ADVENTURES
Morzine in summer is packed with things to do. Some of our favourites:
• Alpine Luge – full of laughter and “one more go!”
• Chair Lifts – incredible views over meadows and peaks
• Outdoor Pool – ideal for cooling down
• Lac de Montriond – a 35°C day escape! The girls loved paddling by the shoreline with dramatic cliffs all around

🥘 THE FOOD… WOW
We ate so well all week, but the highlight was dinner at La Rotonde – fondue in the garden, French music in the background, and three very happy children dipping bread into molten cheese. Pure holiday joy.

If you’re looking for a summer destination that’s beautiful, outdoorsy and great for kids, Morzine is a gem. I’m always happy to share recommendations or help plan a trip there. 💛✈️🌲
