Dubai Is Successfully Sterilized

According to Al Bayan, the Dubai Civil Defence has already carried out the disinfection in all areas of Dubai. The sterilization was implemented according to the international standards, using 75,000 litres of the sterilizing substance ever since the National Disinfection Programme started.

Though most of the normal activities will be restored, resterilization is still considered to secure the well being of the residents especially in areas like Naif, Al-Ras and workers' accommodations.

Etihad to Delay Flight Operations Until May 16

Due to the ongoing situation being faced by the world right now, Etihad has delayed its original plan on resuming flight operations on May 1 to May 16. Originally, Etihad's decision to resume their flight operations on May 1 was due to the lifting of imposed travel restrictions by the UAE government. However, that was not the case.

The only flights being operated by the different airlines in the country, including Etihad, are repatriation flights, allowing it's UAE nationals to come back to the country and for expatriates to go back to their home countries. According to them, flights are still bookable from May 16, however, they will be keeping a closer watch in case any changes in the situation. Etihad will announce in its proper channels if there are any changes in their implementations.
