Burj Al Arab closed its doors in April 2026 for a major refurbishment and is set to welcome guests back in October 2027.

The refresh, led by French architect Tristan Auer, will keep the details that make it so iconic, gold leaf, Statuario marble, Swarovski crystal and, of course, that unmistakable sail-shaped design—while adding new fabrics, finishes and subtle tech upgrades.
