- If you’ve overstayed but are not marked as absconding, you do not need to visit any offices for amnesty. Simply apply for a new visa with a new employer. Once the new visa is issued, you can do a status change directly without any fines. After that, proceed with the medical, ID, and contract submission processes.
✅𝟐. 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐚 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐲 (𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐀𝐛𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠):
- Similar to cancelled visa holders, you can apply for a new visa with a new employer without needing to visit any offices. Once the new visa is issued, do a status change directly without any fines, and then complete the medical, ID, and contract submission steps.
✅ 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐫 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐚 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 (𝐈𝐟 𝐀𝐛𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠):
- You must visit the Aweer center with your new offer letter. They will remove you from the blacklist, allowing you to apply for a new visa with a new employer. After the new visa is issued, you can change your status without any fines and complete the remaining procedures.
✅𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐚 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 (𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐫 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐀𝐛𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠):
- This applies to those on company or housemaid visas. The process may vary, so please follow the appropriate procedures for your specific situation.

✅𝟏. 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐫 𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐲:
- Call the MOHRE toll-free number: 600590000.
- Register a complaint to request the cancellation of your work permit.
- MOHRE will contact both you and your employer, and they will cancel the work permit without placing a ban.
- After that, cancel your residency through Immigration.
- Once the residency is canceled, you can apply for a new employment visa with a new employer and complete the remaining process without any fines.
✅𝟐. 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐚 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬:
- There is no need to visit any offices.
- You must first cancel your current visa, whether it is active or expired, before proceeding with any new visa applications.
