I am from Slovakia, but I am currently living in the the most awesome city - DUBAI! Traveling has always been my greatest passion and only when I travel I feel like I am truly living. I have always been thinking about writing a blog but I've never had enough time... until now, when I have to write my thesis (procrastination is a perfect way to start new things haha). I haven't traveled to many cou

ntries (YET!) but I am not going to stop until I visit every single one on this planet! I love meeting new people, new cultures, learning about life around the world. It is extremely fascinating and inspiring and I will never get bored of it. I might not show you new things, but I will show you things through my eyes and that is definitely different!

First time I fell in love with New Zealand was 11 years ago when I traveled around for a month. The beautiful nature, friendly people, delicious food, amazing coffee… and never have I ever imagined I’ll be back one day since it’s on the other side of the world.
This time the best part of the trip was to see my long time friend I haven’t seen for 11 years, quality time with her little family and the every search for great coffee! Found many so stay around for another coffee post!

💙 It’s been over a month since I got back from French Polynesia and it still feels like a dream. I’ve always wanted to go there and swim with humpback whales, see them in their ocean, watch them play, hear them sing. I’ve watched so many videos of them so I thought it cannot surprise me to be around them. But boy was I wrong. Nobody really talks about how physically challenging it can be to be on the boat for hours, observing their behavior, swim in the ocean through waves, waiting for them to reappear. Your movement becomes one with the waves and all you can see below is just vastness of dark blue and kilometres of depth. If you’re not used to it you lose sense of space. I was seasick every single time and it was rough. But the moment you see them, gentle giants appearing from the depths right in front of you. So close that if you extend your arm you could perhaps touch them. It’s unreal. Out of this world. One of a kind experience that I cannot wait to repeat again! 💙
