December 2 — UAE National Day (Eid Al Etihad)

On December 2, the UAE celebrates one of the most important holidays of the year — the 54th anniversary of the union of the seven emirates, formed in 1971. This day symbolizes the unity, strength, traditions, and bright future of the nation. The celebration is known as Eid Al Etihad, meaning “The Union Day.”

Eid Al Etihad is celebrated on a grand scale across all seven emirates. Cities are decorated in the colors of the national flag, and the country hosts cultural programs, parades, drone shows, multimedia performances, and festive events for residents and visitors.

DRONE SHOW IN DUBAI IS BACK ✨

Starting December 5, 2025, as part of the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF), one of the most spectacular winter events returns to the city — the DSF Drones Show.

Every evening over Bluewaters Island and The Beach (JBR), visitors will enjoy two different shows, performed twice per night — at 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM.

More than 1,000 advanced LED drones will light up the sky — brighter, faster, and more expressive than ever. Expect stunning aerial storytelling and breathtaking shapes drawn with light ✨
