Heritage Express is proudly the only tour provider in the UAE with exclusive, fully trained and experienced Emirati tour guides. The tour is an experience that takes guests around the many fascinating aspects of the Emirati culture by retelling stories, recalling historical milestones, providing the space for an open conversation and gathering around delicious dishes from the local cuisine. On tour, the guests are introduced first to the most important historical landmarks around Old Dubai in a guided journey aboard a customized trolley bus that mimics an Emirati majlis (gathering area). These include Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Centre for Cultural Understanding, Al Seef, Fahidi Fort, Dubai Abra, Al Shindagha, Union House and Jumeirah Mosque. The guests can also opt to further enrich their experience by choosing to enjoy an authentic Emirati breakfast, lunch or dinner at the Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Centre for Cultural Understanding. The gathering is fueled by an immersive conversation and discussion about the local culture and heritage where guests can ask about all details regarding the etiquette, customs and daily routines of the Emirati lifestyle. All questions are welcomed in the open discussion and will be answered directly by an experienced Emirati guide.
