The UAE has made life easier for families by introducing a new way to handle government paperwork. Instead of each person needing to use separate applications, families can now manage all their transactions together through one single app.

The service, called the “Resident Family” project, comes from the country’s Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security. It’s part of the UAE’s “Zero Bureaucracy” effort, which is designed to simplify how government services work.

What this means for families is straightforward: you no longer have to submit individual applications for each family member. Information only needs to be entered once, documents uploaded once, and payment made once. There’s no more repeating the same process over and over for every service needed.

Dubai, 17 December 2025 – The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) announced today that, from the start of the year through 10 December, its automated systems have successfully handled around 13 million transactions without any human involvement.

This achievement covers a broad spectrum of the Ministry’s services and marks a major step forward in its ongoing integration of artificial intelligence. The move is part of the second phase of the Zero Government Bureaucracy (ZGB) program, supporting the UAE’s digital transformation, boosting the labor market’s competitiveness, and contributing to the ‘We the UAE 2031’ vision.

The Ministry adopts a sustainable approach to service development, making the most of its digital infrastructure and AI tools while upskilling its team to manage automated processes. Seamless digital links with other government entities also help provide faster, smoother, and round‑the‑clock services to customers.
