My nephew, Ray was out for a walk when he was unexpectedly attacked by two pit bull dogs, leaving him with severe injuries and facing a long road to recovery. A great way to spend a beautiful sunny Easter Sunday is a drive in the French Alps. I drove on the Route de Turini through villages like Sospel, Moulinet, La Bollène-Vésubie, L'Imberguet, Duranus, Levens, and Aspremont before stopping for a hike up to the Fort du Mont Chauve d'Aspremont where the views were stunning.

The last Sunday of each month the village of Villeneuve-Loubet hosts and Italian Market. After walking around the market, I explored this village more in depth. Interesting to learn of a big battle between here in WWII. A few years ago, they discovered a mass grave with the remains of 14 German soldiers.
