Zacchaeus’ Sycamore Tree is one of the top tourist attractions in Jericho (The Holyland) due to the role it played in the biblical (Luke 19:1-10) story.

Although the tree may not be the same one Zacchaeus climbed, but local tradition has named this Zacchaeus tree.

Tests carried out on the tree have shown that it is over 2,000 years old and it stands in the same setting as the Biblical sycamore tree.

The Holyland Trip - The Nativity Church at Bethlehem

We had the opportunity to visit the place where Jesus was born, and saw his manger at the same time.

The feeling was surreal, as it was our fist time, since reading the bible, to visit, touch and feel the sacred place.
