Good news for Dubai and the wider UAE.

The FCDO is no longer advising against all but essential travel to the United Arab Emirates, which means I can now move forward with holidays that were affected by the recent conflict.

I will be spending this afternoon and evening working through affected bookings and contacting clients in date order, so please bear with me while I do this.

A quick note on expectations: some hotels in the UAE are still operating with reduced services or capacity, as they have taken the opportunity to carry out renovations and improvement works. Facilities may differ slightly from what was originally advertised, and I will highlight any known changes when I speak with you so there are no surprises.

He wasn’t supposed to come with us on this occasion.

My parents were taking the grandchildren away this week but my mum recently had an operation and had to cancel their trip. So our boy is coming with us instead 🥰 ✈️ ☀️ 🤿 🚤 💙

🌊 OUT OF THE OFFICE... AND UNDERWATER! 🐠🐢

From 9th June to 16th June, I’ll be swapping my desk for the ocean and spending some time with my fish friends – and hopefully spotting a shark or two! 🦈

While I’m away, I’ll still be available for all existing clients travelling to or with bookings in destinations such as Italy, Morocco and Malta, so you can rest assured I’m still on hand if needed.

However, I will not be taking on new enquiries during this time.

🌴 Think Crete is cheaper than Mauritius? Think again...

I recently quoted a family of 4 for a 1-week July holiday. Their wish list? ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ all-inclusive, a suite, and direct flights from London.

We started with Crete, but the prices were eye-watering. 💸

So I looked at Mauritius...

The result? A 5⭐ all-inclusive beachfront Deluxe Junior Suite in beautiful Turtle Bay, direct flights included, and it came in around £2,500 LESS than the Crete option. 🤯

Even better, the Mauritius hotel had stronger reviews and July is one of the best times to visit, with warm sunshine, comfortable temperatures and the start of whale watching season. 🐋

The lesson? ✈️

Don’t assume a destination is cheaper just because it’s closer to the UK. Sometimes looking further afield gets you more luxury, a better hotel and saves you thousands.

This family are going to love Mauritius. 🇲🇺

✈️☀️ As we prepare to go off on our summer holidays, here is something important to note.

If you are travelling to Spain this summer and currently use the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower lanyard, Spanish airports operated by Aena now require passengers to apply for their own Invisible Disabilities Badge in order to access the benefits of the scheme.

So if you are travelling to Spain this summer, here is what you need to do to help ensure a smoother airport experience:

💙 I will be doing this for all of my clients travelling to Spain this summer and beyond, who utilise the Sunflower lanyard, but if you don’t have a travel agent arranging this for you, here is what you need to do:

➡️ Head over to:
https://www.aena.es/en/passengers/travellers/passengers-with-special-needs/invisible-disabilities/invisible-disabilities-badge.html

➡️ Complete the form for BOTH arrival and departure (2 separate forms)

➡️ Once completed, you will receive a PDF confirmation

➡️ Either print the PDF or save it to your phone to present to airport staff when required
