Part 2 of my Greek island adventure - this time in Paros. Think whitewashed buildings with blue shutters but without the crowds of Santorini or chaos of Mykonos. You are seriously on island time here - lazy mornings, sunset swims and seafood dinners. The waters are turquoise, the food is incredible (I gained about 3kg) and there are no mega chain hotels - just charming boutique resorts and little tavernas.

Hiring a car is a must - unless you’re in one of the main towns. This is a perfect stay for families who want pure relaxation, Greek charm and stunning scenery. It’s giving Mamma Mia 🇬🇷

Just my observations when looking at trips to Europe this summer. Prices are sky high for a standard that wouldn’t even pass a Dubai 3* - older hotels, poor views, basic meal plans and tiny rooms. We love Europe - some of my favourite destinations are in Spain, Croatia, Czech Republic, south of France… but let me know your thoughts on this. Does Asia offer the best bang for your buck? What do you think? ⬇️⬇️⬇️

A Miami icon on Bluewaters - welcome to the

Based on the old Caesars Palace site, this hotel has been totally reimagined and toned down.

It’s giving effortless, grown-up luxury — old Miami energy but Dubai-style. Think beautiful design, a calm, exclusive feel, and understated cool - with dark interiors, flowy curtains and the signature wrought iron chairs in the pool. 9 restaurant options from Chinese to Teppanyaki to French Riviera dining - means you are well catered to, while the spacious rooms and gorgeous suites are a cut above the usual offerings. Check out that enormous bathtub.

Perfect for couples, a chic staycation, or if you just want somewhere that feels a bit more special than your usual Dubai hotel. The Delano has it all…

Must watch! This hotel blew my mind (and I’ve been to a few!) the .rasalkhaimah was simply sensational- from the service to the food to the bold design. No generic beige here.

This is a must visit if you like hotels that are cool, unique and high quality. I’d say while families are welcome, this is more a place to take a partner or adult group -less focus on noisy splash pads and more on fine dining, endless cocktails and the adults pool. The beach is on a gorgeous stretch facing Marjan island and all rooms are sea facing. All inclusive only means you won’t put your hand in your pocket once.

Dm me to book!

You may have seen lots of headlines about hotel closures happening in the UAE… but is all as it seems?

In short - no! The Burj Al Arab, Park Hyatt and Armani hotels have planned refurbishments, while the Radisson Media City is reopening under another brand. Some hotels have scaled back operations due to current low demand but summer is approaching which is a quiet season anyway.

By September we’ll see things bouncing back as external passenger demand returns. I’m personally excited for all the new openings on the way - I just spent this weekend looking at the progress on the Wynn in Marjan Island - now that’s one to watch.

Dear Housekeeping: please stop 🤣

Any housekeeping managers on here that can explain this phenomenon? Thank you!

Fun fact: I lived in Barcelona for a year while studying and currently quoting a trip has taken me right back to those days. Such a stunning city with beautiful architecture at every turn - Gaudi’s Parc Guell, Sagrada Familia, Casa Battlo and La Pedrera. The Boqueria market, Las Ramblas and Placa Catalunya. Incredible tapas and cava. The Montjuic and Tibidabo mountains, and stadium at Poble Nou. Tiny alleyways in the gothic quarter and the gleaming buildings down at the Vila Olimpica including Frank Gehry’s fish. The home of Salvador Dali.

If you’ve not been, put it on your list!
