We would like to sincerely thank His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi and the team at RAKTDA for facilitating and supporting yesterday’s landmark MOU signing in Ras Al Khaimah.

It was an honour for ActionFlight Aviation and BLINC Space to officially sign our agreement developing groundbreaking astronaut training and human spaceflight preparation experiences in the Emirate.

The event brought together distinguished guests, government representatives, members of the aviation and space sectors, invited media, and an inspiring astronaut delegation, highlighting Ras Al Khaimah’s growing role in aerospace, innovation and advanced experiential tourism.

Through this collaboration, ActionFlight Aviation and Vertical Advanced Flight Training will be training future astronauts in airborne human spaceflight preparation including G-Force training, aerobatic profiles, parachute/skydive training and future zero-gravity flight experiences as part of the wider astronaut preparation programme.

This initiative represents far more than experiential tourism. It is a step toward establishing UAE-based commercial space training capabilities that can support present and future international space industries, human spaceflight programmes, research and exploration.

The serious side of ActionFlight Aviation is our ATO, VERTICAL Advanced Flight Training. We deliver mandated Advanced Upset Prevention & Recovery Training required for new commercial pilots before entering airline careers.

It was our privilege to welcome our newest AUPRT graduate, commercial pilot Sam from Canada 🇨🇦

After receiving his CAR FCL.745(a) completion certificate, Sam shares his experience of both the ground school and in-flight training, along with kind words for Captain Wayne A. Jack and Captain Rob Akron, who guided him throughout the programme.

AUPRT develops confidence, judgement, energy management, and the ability to manage startle, surprise, and unexpected aircraft upsets safely.

We’re proud to announce that the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has issued ATO approval to ActionFlight's training wing, Vertical Advanced Flight Training.

Vertical UPRT is now the first dedicated provider of Advanced Upset Prevention & Recovery Training (A-UPRT) in the UAE and wider GCC/MENA region.

Advanced UPRT addresses Loss of Control in Flight (LOC-I) — the leading cause of fatal aviation accidents — by equipping pilots with the skills to recognise, prevent, and recover from aircraft upsets.

Training is delivered in the Extra 330, led by senior instructors with extensive airline, AUPRT, aerobatic, and examiner backgrounds. Our 3-day, non-jeopardy programme follows CAR-FCL-745(a) guidelines and focuses on competency-based training.

Now accepting enquiries from airlines, business aviation operators, charter pilots, private owners, and training organisations.
