We had an amazing trip sailing in the BVI. We hit Norman Island, Peter Island, several spots on Virgin Gorda, Guana Island and Jost Van D**e. We found great snorkeling spots and beautiful beaches and had a fabulous time.

Boats at Sea was outstanding as usual. We have used them now 6 times.
Made everything very easy for us.

The Yacht was great - it was a 2023 Bali 5.4. The open floor plan was really nice - the garage door feature to open up the salon was incredible and made the space more usable than any boat we've been on. The fly bridge was also great as was the seating in the bow. The non-master bedrooms seemed slightly tighter than the Lagoon's and Sunreef that we've be on before, but overall we absolutely loved this boat.

The water toys were OK. They didn't have a floating platform like the website suggested and the underwater scooters were not as high quality as what we had on our 2024 Lagoon in Greece. That being said, they had 2 paddleboards (inflatable FYI) and a Kayak and several noodles. They also had snorkeling gear.

The meals were absolutely outstanding. Literally every meal was perfect and Chef Romaine really responded to the preference sheet and our input into the menu - which was greatly appreciated. All of us on board felt like Chef Romaine was one of, if not the, best chefs we've had in all of our trips.

Captain Francisco was fantastic. He had great energy and enthusiasm and worked with us to nail down the perfect itinerary - adjusting as necessary to wind conditions, etc. Despite not being in the BVI for that long, he was actually very knowledgeable and open to figuring out new spots. He was excellent.

Perfect. We were very active but while onboard could relax as we wished. It was excellent.

Yes, as mentioned - it was perfect! The bedrooms were small, but we were just in there for sleep, so it was fine. The rest of the ship was clean and comfortable.

We used the water toys, particularly the sunchill, snorkel gear and sea scooters.

The food was beyond perfect and so delicious. Even my picky teen, loved it!

Gino and Nikita couldn't have been more perfect - they made the trip comfortable, easy and relaxing. They were so kind and helpful and answered all our questions. We enjoyed talking to them and getting to know them.

The pace was exactly right for our family.

'This was, by far, the best trip we've taken as a family!'

Every bit of the experience far surpassed any expectations we had. Captain Juan and his wife Rochi went above and beyond for us and made everything so perfect for us. The meals were outstanding, the activities were so fun for the kids, and we had the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. It was the perfect trip!

The services were amazing! Incredible meals, drinks, clean rooms every day, water activities for the kids, snorkeling. Everything was perfect.

The yacht was so comfortable and always clean and well organized! Plenty of space for our family of four.

Cabins were cleaned daily, sheets changed midweek.

Snorkeling, Sea Bob, floating raft, tubing, knee boarding, e-foil....we were never bored! Juan was amazing and was always asking us and the kids which activities we were in the mood for. He even gave our son some lessons on boating:)

The meals exceeded our expectations! Every meal was a feast, with fresh ingredients, beautiful presentations, plenty of variety, and was better than any restaurant meal. Our son has food allergies so they were very careful with those. Both kids ate everything at every meal, and that says a lot because sometimes they can be picky! Also, Rochis drinks were better than any drinks at bars and restaurants we visited:). We packed on a few extra pounds and it was totally worth it!

We can't say enough good things about our captain, Juan, and his wife, Rochi, who cooked all the meals and helped with boat jobs, as well as keeping everything clean and organized. They were incredibly kind, helpful, friendly, knowledgeable about the islands, and so attentive to our children. We were so comfortable with them and would love another chance to be with them!

The itinerary and pace was perfect. Plenty of time to relax, chill, play games, have some quiet family time. But also felt like we did so many different and adventurous things every day!

There is no way that any other trip will ever beat this one. We did not want it to end and we can't wait to do it again!

'Could have stayed for another week!'

Boatsatsea was easy to use, clear instructions, great follow up, awesome broker! Sherry was fabulous to work with!!!

Chef Abby was 5 star. The last dinner was off the chart. Menu exceeded expectations. Abby used Decor/items that were already on boat. She made every meal special. I think a frappe machine was where the coffee maker could have gone. Capt was a great bartender and gave us a lot of attention.

Both crew members were awesome. They were all of the above. Having an engineer as your capt was a plus.
Laid back and let Capt choose the spots. Strongly recommend

Strongly recommend a minimum of 48 hours between charters on Ithaka...so unfair to crew and guests.

I would recommend Boatsatsea to friends and family, we had a wonderful experience with them.

Snorkeling. Beautiful clean water but not many fish.

Unbelievable how Chef paid attention to my pick eating. I admired her beautiful dishes my two sisters devoured. She simplified my serving.

The crew was extremely professional but adjusted to our wishes as much as conditions would allow.
We avoided the party locations. Ate on board goal sailing and snorkeling.

I want to go back!

Our service was fantastic. Jim Shrove was outstanding and guided us throughout the whole booking process from start to finish. We would absolutely use Boats at Sea for our next adventure.

The yacht was clean and well maintained. Our cabins and cockpit were comfortable. There were some minor issues, but the crew attended to each issue immediately. Some of us though there was enough shade- another few people thought maybe there could be some shade on the bow.

We used just about everything. We especially liked the floating raft. Only one of us went diving- he said it was fine, but not exceptional.

This was a highlight for sure of our trip. The menus exceeded our expectations. Stijn did an incredible job providing for us. We will never forget his meals. They paid close attention to our preference sheet- thank you Stijn and Evanne!

We cannot say enough about our crew. They were the best aspect of the entire trip. They were courteous, flexible, attentive and knowledgeable. We would for sure follow them to another yacht in the future. If we could rate them 11 out of 10, we would! They worked as a team, made us feel safe, were very professional and were very easy and fun to interact with. Thank you Evanne and Stijn for providing us with a once in a lifetime trip!

Everything from start to finish was fantastic. Jim did a good job helping us pick a boat/crew and getting it all arranged. Could not ask for a better crew, they made the trip special! I would absolutely recommend Boatsatsea to friends (and have already)

Clari and Mariano made it an absolute vacation for the whole family (mom and dad too!)

Ritmo was clean and well maintained. Plenty of room for our family of 5 to spread out and find places to relax both in the sun and shade. One of our worries going in was would there be enough break from the sun if wanted and there was plenty to offer.

We used all the toys. Tubes to float in and SUPs were favorites but the snorkeling was the highlight.

The culinary experience was the biggest surprise! I was not aware one could prepare such fresh and varied dishes while cooking in a galley out of a few coolers. The preference sheet was followed to a T. Everyone looked forward to every meal. The one thing all the kids agreed on as their highlights of the trip.

Clari and Mariano honestly made the entire vacation so special. They were attentive to us. The manned the ship with expertise and put all our fears to rest. We enjoyed a variety of experiences in the islands and they adapted as we went to what the family felt up for that day. They were the perfect blend of being there to help and also giving time and space to relax.

Pace and itinerary were perfect. Clari and Mariano adapted and adjusted to what everyone wanted to do and always had good suggestions for locations and activities.

We feel completely relaxed and refreshed!

It was an absolute pleasure doing business with BoatsAtSea on this sailing excursion. Would certainly recommend them to anyone planning a sailing trip. Sherry Moore was fantastic!!!

Great boat! Everything was clean and comfortable throughout the trip. We spent a fair amount of time in the cockpit with Captain Nate and there was ample shade.

Our cabins were cleaned daily.

We did paddle boarding and snorkeling.

Meals were exquisite! Abby knew her way around the kitchen and created absolute masterpieces every day.

Captain Nate and Abby were fantastic. Nate was as knowledgeable, attentive, and as helpful as one could possibly imagine. Both he and Abby were courteous and extremely warm. We all felt as though we were on an excursion with best friends. Of course the difference was that these friends Nate and Abby waited on us hand and foot. We would follow them on any boat they chose to crew in the future.

We had previously selected an itinerary, and the Captain did his best to stick to it. We visited a few new places that surprised and impressed us all.

If there were any issues we would have like addressed is the generator noise in one of the cabins in bow of boat. Other than that the boat was very well equipped.

We would charter again, book the same Yacht again, try a different yacht next time, follow the crew onto another yacht, sail a different destination.

was good and well organized.

The yacht was clean. Felt very new. The door opening of the Bali's really makes it a indoor/outdoor space allowing for more shade or sun preference.

We had 2 very comfortable cabins, but one appeared to be over the generator so was quite loud.

Used the paddleboards, kayak and floating pad as well as snorkeling gear. The clear bottom kayak allowed those uncomfortable with snorkeling able to participate. Was good.

The meals were excellent! Great menu. The preference sheets and pre call really helped ensure we got exactly what we wanted.

The crew was 10/10. Knew the area, understood our needs, pivoted well when weather didnt corporate. Very friendly and attentive.

Captain Dane, although not a seasoned captain on crewed charters, if he sticks with the charter business will flourish into an excellent captain that any charter guest would be grateful to have. Would charter with him in the future if he was working a catamaran we were interested in. He was knowledgeable about the area as he grew up in Virgin Gorda and was very calm and good with people. Fun captain and not uptight what so ever.

Matea made the trip special and she is a definite keeper. She is a people pleaser and knows her job inside and out. Matea is what a chef/stew should embody in all aspects of a charter. She can cook and at the same time make sure the guests have everything they want or need.

Why change perfection?!?!?'

From the time we were picked up at the airports to the time we were dropped off at the airports we were catered to, fed the most amazing meals, snacks, any and all requests were met with a smile. We have never had trip like this, ever. Each and every person in the crew were kind, polite, happy and knew exactly what was needed far before we needed it. Mom and Dave's were unbelievable with our grand kids. They got all of the toys out and readied before they were awake. The kids hit the water and toys with a vengeance while Davey and Kim were there to assist, drive, play, film every step of the way. Captain Dave was professional, educational, so pleasant and always there and around for any needs anyone had. The ladies, Paula and Hyacinth, oh my were beyond pleasant, always filling up cocktails, coffee, waters, lemonades etc for us all. The tables set so expertly and beautifully, such professionalism. I'm a designer and have done many functions for my high end clients so I know the work and expertise this takes. Not a single glass had a spot or smudge including the flatware. She used gloves for handling so not a single fingerprint on a thing until we sat down to enjoy each meal that was presented. Chef Tim enjoyed spoiling us with his many many meal choices and combinations he created for the appetites of the adults and for the children. We all left a little heavier and happier than when we arrived. He made pizza and cookies with the kids. I mean, you could NOT find a better suited staff for Kashmir than you have now. Yes, in the fall we want to book a business trip. Stay tuned for Ed's direction on that and perhaps another spring break with the family. Cheer and thank you!

We all totally enjoyed the Crew. They were extraordinary! Chris was an amazing Captain and very knowledgeable. J.D. was hard working and very enjoyable to be with. We all loved Chef Lida's creations and presentations. We all commented on our food at restaurants after leaving the cat that it failed in comparison to Chef Lida's food. All three were totally accommodating, friendly and totally enjoyable to be with. We all want to cruise with this team again! Our trip totally surpassed our expectations!

All the staff kept the cat pristine!! It was well maintained and the cabins were comfortable. There was plenty of shade. Loved the Huntress

They loved the dive spots and the others loved the snorkeling areas. We used the water ski's, bungee, floating chairs & Mat, Paddle board.

Yes, yes and yes! Everything was exceptional! The table presentation was always perfect and often fun. The food was phenomenal and very flavorful and fresh. She kept our preferences and was very creative with them. The crew was amazing. They all worked together like a well oiled machine.

Perfect! Captain Chris knew when to bring us in on an excursion and when to wait for the cruise people to leave. He knew the spots we wanted to go to.

Another unforgettable week on the water!
Here’s what our happy guests had to say after their charter!

'There are simply no words to adequately describe the experience we had other than SUPERB!!!!' Whiskey Business was the absolute best!

It surpassed every expectation I could have had. Wade and Tippee were the best! The food was the best I have EVER had whether in a 5 star or Michelin restaurant it will be hard to beat it. They made sure every desire, wish, and want we're met from the ride to the snorkeling to the beach visits and beyond. I've never felt so taken care of as I did on this vacation. It will be hard to find one better.

The whole experience was a complete pleasure.

Tippee is way better than c any 5-star restaurant I've ever eaten in. Her a attention to detail and flavor was outstanding.

From start to finish, this was an awesome experience. BoatsAtSea provided excellent service, especially with our last-minute reservation!

The boat was immaculate!! The crew kept it very clean throughout our journey. We had a few minor issues with the toilets, but the captain promptly assessed and handled them.

We loved the sea scooters and all the water toys. Our sea ring floated away overnight, but the captain replaced it the next day with a floating mat. Diving was awesome—highly recommend! We saw turtles, octopus, eels, and ginormous crabs and lobsters.

Yes!!! Every meal was delicious, like a 5-star restaurant!! We didn’t want to eat off the boat at all!

Honestly, I was nervous at first about the young age of our crew—but OMG!! Both were extremely knowledgeable and experienced! We felt safe and cared for the entire time, and they tailored our vacation to OUR preferred activities and preferences! So much so, my husband wants to buy a boat and hire them to run it!!

The yacht was clean, functional, and well maintained. Some guest quarters were a bit tight — but to be expected. There was plenty of shade and space to relax, and the cabins were cleaned daily with fresh sheets and towels midweek.

We used all the water toys and had everything we needed for fun in the sun! The meals? Over-the-top good — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented with attention to all our preferences.

Eleanor and Francois were incredible — helpful, knowledgeable, and so welcoming. We'd absolutely want to sail with them again.
