JANUARY'S DAY TRIP

Sunday/ 29 January 2023.
Departure time: 11:00.

SCHEDULE:

* 11:00 - We'll meet at Bar Restaurant Limani.
* 11:30 - Departure by boat to South Point Beach (between Monastery beach and Mirror beach).
* 12:30 - Hiking departure from South Point Beach, towards to the Monastery of St. George.
* 13:15 - We'll break in the small Mediterranean forest, between the Dema's Wall and the door of Monastery, where we shall enjoy a cocktail with natural pomegranate juice, and a shot of mulled wine (bio taste gluhwein, original German flavor).
* Hiking from South Point Beach to the place where we will have a drink, lasts max 45 mins.
* We will stay at the place where we have a drink for about 1 hour.
* Let's continue walking for another 10 minutes towards the monastery of Saint George, where inside the monastery, we also visit the church of Saint Mary.
* After the visit to Monastery, we'll continue to walk for a maximum of 10 more minutes, until the road where the car is waiting for us.
* Around 15:15, we leave by car towards the village of Navarice, where the specific values ​​there are the flour mill, the only 200-year-old mill that has survived, as well as the olive oil workshop, the beehives.
* 16:00 we arrive in the village of Navarice, where a traditional organic meal awaits us at the small restaurant, next to their house, where a river passes nearby. Inside is fire-place.
* 16:30 - A small musical band from Saranda is coming, where they will entertain us with some local songs and guitars. Meanwhile, the meal will be ready.
* 19:00 - We leave for Sarande, and after a little more than 30 minutes, everyone will be in their own house.
* The car will be available for everyone until in front of your apartment.

● Of course this experience has a price, but the price will be minimal, compared to the real costs.

● Payment must be made at the moment before departure. You pay only once at the beginning, and everything offered is included in the price.

E fillove me Tatzatin, por sigurisht në vazhdim të uroj suksese me Lukovën, Konispolin, etj.

Despite the fact that I am not in Saranda, but some food tours are feasible again. Not hiking, cultural and combined, but only food tours, or food & tours, and of course secret beaches by private boat. English guide with Nat from NYC.

The destinations are the same countryside franchises we did together. Now that I'm missing out, I'm recommending Ms. Nat, from NYC.
Like no other expats, Nat is highly adapted to local life.

Some of the next food tours are guesthouse in Lukova, Konispol, Janjar, Tatzat, etc.

Saturday, 23 April.

On Saturday, on the occasion of Orthodox Easter, I organize a dinner, similar to the organization of Catholic Easter last week (On Sunday).

For the believers, this religious celebration start on Sunday, in the first hour of the morning in the church, and continues during the day according to tradition.
As everywhere else, but especially in the Balkans, people prepare their own dishes which they enjoy at home or outdoors.
This is a symbolic dinner with friends, a few hours before Easter. So I decided to be GËZUAR together on Saturday.

We'll have saranda's local music, with guitar. The art characters will be revealed at the time of the meal.

Let's hang out of town, nearby Saranda for e few hours.

We will pick you up by car, in front of your apartments. And of course we will bring you back by car to yours every singel one home.

Depart approx 16:30.
Back Saranda 21:30.

This tour will take you to a remote mountain village perched high on a cliff as well as showing you many hidden gems well off the beaten track.

A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE TO SEE ALBANIAN CUSTOMS & CULTURE IN THE HEART OF THE COUNTRYSIDE.

Waterfalls, hiking & lunch on a traditional albanian farm.

Tour itinerary:

-Depart from Saranda 9am
-Arrive at Jesir Bridge, a medieval stone bridge as well as a stop at Kalase village to meet the locals, visit the tekke and maybe a glass of Raki.
-After driving for a short time we arrive at Tatzat village high on a cliff. Our guide will walk the ancient alleyways with you explaining local points of interest.
-A short 30 minute hike or donkey ride down to a local farm for lunch at 1pm.
-Fresh seasonal produce, which will be bio-organic, will be prepared for us to enjoy.
-An hour and half hike will lead us to the Alicanua Waterfalls, where we will spend some time enjoying the cool water.
-Advancing Hiking:
Crossing the mountain from Tatzati to Piqeras, will take about 3 hours. From the depths of the mountains, the magnificent hirozont of the Albanian Riviera will come up during will cimb on the top of Pliri Mount.
-Back Saranda 10 pm

Please be aware that hiking to the waterfall is over some difficult terrain so be sure to pack some appropriate footwear as well as your swimsult.
