It is a large karstic spring, which emerges vertically in tectonic-karstic fissures and is connected to two other springs of this type called ‘hurdhana’, with a flow of about 1500 liters per second.The spring emerges from a vertical chimney with a depth of about 22 – 28 m and a diameter of 3 – 5 m. It is also known as the Siphon of Vir.
