Niki and Paolo started with three apartments and a belief that Albania deserved better.

No one was watching Albania back then, so we focused on what we could control: the quality of every stay, and letting the results speak. Word spread slowly, then all at once.

Tirana is one of those cities that keeps surprising you and the best way to discover it is simply to walk through it with open eyes.

Skanderbeg Square is where you start. The statue, the mosaic facade of the National History Museum, the mix of Ottoman, Italian, and modern architecture all in one frame, it sets the tone immediately.

The Clock Tower & Et’hem Bey Mosque: two of the oldest landmarks in the city, sitting side by side, right in the middle of everything.

The Sunday Antique Market: qilim rugs, old coins, communist-era memorabilia, handmade crafts.

Give yourself an hour and you’ll want three.
Bunk’Art & the National Gallery: for when you want to go deeper into what this city has actually been through.

Pazari i Ri: the New Bazaar. Fresh produce, street food, great coffee, and the kind of energy that makes you understand why Albanians love this city.

And then just wander. The colourful streets, the street art, the hidden courtyards, Tirana always has something around the next corner.
