ℹ Kolonja municipality, consists of 8 administrative units: Qender Erseka, Leksovik, Qender Leksovik, Novosela, Barmash, Mollas and Clirim.

Locals preserve the tradition of welcoming visitors in their guesthouses and the typical food of the area, thus give an experience of a well-preserved culture in time.

There is a growing trend of tourism for the entire municipality of Kolonja. The proximity to Greece and Macedonia as well as the pristine and little explored nature of this area are attracting more and more cyclists, climbers and adventure tourists.

The Korça-Ersekë road, a part of which is under reconstruction, is populated every day by cyclists coming from different European countries, and with their bicycles it is difficult to climb Qar e Qarrit to be released later on the steep road that winds up to Erseka.

Die Gemeinde Kolonja besteht aus 8 Verwaltungseinheiten: Qender Erseka, Leksovik, Qender Leksovik, Novosela, Barmash, Mollas und Clirim.

Die Einheimischen bewahren die Tradition, Besucher in ihren Gästehäusern willkommen zu heißen, und das typische Essen der Region und geben so die Erfahrung einer gut erhaltenen Kultur in der Zeit.

Es gibt einen wachsenden Trend des Tourismus für die gesamte Gemeinde Kolonja. Die Nähe zu Griechenland und Mazedonien sowie die unberührte und wenig erforschte Natur dieser Gegend ziehen immer mehr Radfahrer, Kletterer und Abenteuertouristen an.

Die Straße Korça-Ersekë, von der ein Teil im Umbau ist, wird täglich von Radfahrern aus verschiedenen europäischen Ländern bevölkert. Mit ihren Fahrrädern ist es schwierig, den Qar e Qarrit zu besteigen, um später auf der steilen Straße, die sich bis zum Ende windet, freigegeben zu werden Erseka.

Wonderful abandoned bunker for aircrafts. Chinese copies of soviet fighter aircrafts MIG are locked inside of a U-form gallery in rocky hill. They are not combat ready and look demilitarised - Albanian air forces were not able to use, fix or to recycle them. There are some wooden boxes with unused aircraft engines, trucks and cannons aswell. This bunker has special forced doors - huge wide gate and smaller door on its top, for aircraft tail.

📍 Gjadër Air Base is a military airport located in Gjadër, Lezhë County, Albania. It is north of the city of Lezhë and is also known as Lezhë-Zadrima Air Base.

ℹ The Gjadër Airbase in Albania was built near a mountain to allow aircraft after landing to go into a tunnel under the mountain. The tunnels have a capacity of storing about 50 aircraft plus personnel. As the airfield is located in the side of the mountain, the pilots have to be careful not to turn when taking off as they can crash into the sides of the mountain.

Wunderbarer verlassener Bunker für Flugzeuge. Chinesische Kopien der sowjetischen Kampfflugzeuge MIG sind in einer U-förmigen Galerie in Rocky Hill eingeschlossen. Sie sind nicht kampfbereit und sehen entmilitarisiert aus - die albanischen Luftstreitkräfte konnten sie nicht verwenden, reparieren oder recyceln. Es gibt auch einige Holzkisten mit unbenutzten Flugzeugtriebwerken, Lastwagen und Kanonen. Dieser Bunker hat spezielle Zwangstüren - ein riesiges breites Tor und eine kleinere Tür oben für das Heck des Flugzeugs.

📍 Die Gjadër Air Base ist ein Militärflughafen in Gjadër, Lezhë County, Albanien. Es liegt nördlich der Stadt Lezhë und ist auch als Lezhë-Zadrima Air Base bekannt.

ℹ Die Gjadër Airbase in Albanien wurde in der Nähe eines Berges gebaut, damit Flugzeuge nach der Landung in einen Tunnel unter dem Berg gelangen können. In den Tunneln können ca. 50 Flugzeuge plus Personal gelagert werden. Da sich der Flugplatz an der Seite des Berges befindet, müssen die Piloten darauf achten, dass sie beim Start nicht abbiegen, da sie gegen die Seiten des Berges stoßen können.

Flia also known as fli or flija, is one of the oldest dishes in Albanian cuisine. It consists of multiple crêpe-like layers brushed with cream and served with sour cream. Traditionally, it is prepared outside with a Saç. Flia translates to "sacrifice".

Flia, auch bekannt als Fli oder Flija, ist eines der ältesten Gerichte der albanischen Küche. Es besteht aus mehreren crêpeähnlichen Schichten, die mit Sahne bestrichen und mit saurer Sahne serviert werden. Traditionell wird es draußen mit einem Saç zubereitet. Flia bedeutet "Opfer".

🇬🇧 Benja Thermal Baths 🛁

A medieval bridge stretches over a sulphur-rich river that leads to year-round natural hot springs.🌡

📍Llixhat as they are called locally, are located in the Përmet District, Albania, only 13 km from the centre.

ℹ The baths are born from geothermal waters flowing down the river and diverted into several pools in which you can soak. The baths have healing properties for your skin, stomach, hands, legs, and many others.
We suggest to visit the baths on the afternoon if you want to avoid tourist crowds, in our case we visited them on the midnight. The place is very safe and you have a restaurant up there.

🇩🇪 Benja Thermalbäder 🛁

Eine mittelalterliche Brücke erstreckt sich über einen schwefelreichen Fluss, der das ganze Jahr über zu natürlichen heißen Quellen führt. 🌡

📍Llixhat, wie sie lokal genannt werden, befinden sich im albanischen Bezirk Përmet, nur 13 km vom Zentrum entfernt.

ℹ Die Bäder werden aus geothermischem Wasser geboren, das den Fluss hinunter fließt, und in mehrere Pools umgeleitet, in denen Sie einweichen können. Die Bäder haben heilende Eigenschaften für Haut, Bauch, Hände, Beine und viele andere.
Wir empfehlen, die Bäder am Nachmittag zu besuchen, wenn Sie Touristenmassen vermeiden möchten. In unserem Fall haben wir sie um Mitternacht besucht. Der Ort ist sehr sicher und Sie haben dort oben ein Restaurant.

-- 🇬🇧 -- The boat ride in Karavasta lagoon is a spectacular experience. Get to see a lot of birds, curly pelicans, flamingos, and many more "long legged". The scenery it's fantastic, full of pine trees and brush which makes a fantastic place for perfect pictures.
Close to the beach there are a lot of sea food restaurants that cook fresh fish and traditional meals.
Overall, Karavasta lagoon makes for a good day outdoors, with many interesting things to see.
It is really an experience not to be missed...

-- 🇩🇪 -- Die Bootsfahrt in der Karavasta Lagune ist ein spektakuläres Erlebnis. Erleben Sie viele Vögel, lockige Pelikane, Flamingos und viele weitere "langbeinige". Die Landschaft ist fantastisch, voller Kiefern und Pinsel, was einen fantastischen Ort für perfekte Bilder darstellt.
In Strandnähe gibt es viele Fischrestaurants, die frischen Fisch und traditionelle Gerichte zubereiten.
Insgesamt sorgt die Lagune von Karavasta für einen guten Tag im Freien mit vielen interessanten Sehenswürdigkeiten.
Es ist wirklich eine Erfahrung, die man sich nicht entgehen lassen sollte ...

Afër plazhit ka shumë restorante që gatuajnë peshk të freskët dhe ushqime tradicionale.
Në përgjithësi, laguna e Karavastasë ofron një vend ideal per nje ditë të mirë përjashta, me shumë gjëra interesante për të parë.
Me të vërtet një përvojë që nuk duhet humbur ...
