how to get there:
• around 4-5 hours from lima, usually by bus or private transfer to nearby ica

where to stay + how long:
• 2 nights is perfect. it gives you enough time for dune buggying, sandboarding and a sunset over the dunes without feeling rushed. stay at banana’s adventure or viajero for a more social vibe

things to do:
• dune buggy through the desert
• sandboard down the dunes (or even ski if you’re brave)
• watch sunset from the top of the dunes - don’t miss this
• wander around the oasis and browse the little shops
• relax by the pool because it gets seriously hot here
• eat at wild olive

some hotels are worth planning a trip around, this is one of them ✨

if casa del mundo is on your guatemala bucket list, make sure you book at least 2 months in advance. it regularly sells out and trust me you don’t want to miss this one!

we paid around £50 a night for some of the best lake views i’ve ever seen, plus the most peaceful few days of the entire trip 🤍

one of the cutest ways to spend a sunny day in the uk. prosecco on the boat, floating past the colleges, sunshine on the river & fully romanticising british summer
