"Lavash" is a traditional Armenian flat bread , which represents our national and originates from ancient 🇦🇲

Traditionally it is made in underground oven called “tonir”. The baking process is a ritual in every Armenian family. From ancient times the dough was the responsibility pf the eldest wife of the family. 🫓

In July 2014 lavash was included in the UNESCO list of intangible cultural heritage as an expression of the Armenian .
