Built in 1855 by the King of Syunik Melik Tangi on the Vorotan River 🏞️, this bridge 🌉 is located about 20 km east of the city of Sisian, under the ruins of the once powerful Vorotnaberd fortress 🏰. The fortress was captured and liberated several times, starting in 450 AD and Vardan Mamikonyan, through the period under the Seljuks 🏹, and then to Tamerlane, until the 18th century, when David Bek liberated the fortress from Melik Baghra.
