‼️CLARIFICATIONS REGARDING UPDATES ON VISA-FREE ENTRY TO ARMENIA
✅Starting from January 1 until July 1, 2026, citizens of 113 countries holding national passport and physical (PLASTIC OR STICKER) residence card , which is valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry, issued by
- GCC member states (including UAE,Qatar,Kuwait,KSA), or
- the European Union, or
- Schengen Area countries, or
- the United States of America
May enter Armenia without a visa, and stay in for up to 180 days from the date of their entry.

💬The decision applies to citizens of 113 countries, including: Syria, Egypt, the Phllippines, Palestine, India, Sri Lanka, Iraq, Pakistan and others.

2️⃣In which physical form of the residence card must be submitted?
💬Residence cards are accepted only in physical form(plastic card or passport sticker). The residence card may be recognized if it contains, in Latin script, the title of the document, the foreign national’s given name, surname, nationality, date of birth, document validity period- indicated according to the Gregorian calendar (e.g., 18.06.2028 or 18 JUN 2028)
Electronic versions are not accepted
3️⃣What if the residence card is valid for less than 6 months?
💬Nationals of the listed countries whose residence card is valid for less than 6 months from the date of entry into Armenia must obtain a visa
4️⃣How is the validity of a residence card calculated?
💬As an example, if the validity of physical residence card expires on 1 December 2026, you may enter the Armenia up to and including 1 June 2026
5️⃣Which countries’ citizens are exempt from the Armenian entry visa requirement?
