The temple of Zvartnots was built in the 7th century. Zvartnots represents a new type of temples in Armenian architecture. Being one of the masterpieces of Armenian architecture,unfortunately,it has been preserved only partly.Ruins of temporal buildings are found near the temple.

Garni temple represents Armenians Hellenistic culture influenced in II-I centuries BC. The Garni temple was built in the first century by king Tiridates.
After adoption of the Christianity the Garni become summer residence of the Armenian kings. The temple was destroyed in 1679 in an earthquake, but was reconstructed in 1975.
Among fascinating things that you can see in Garni are the temple, ancient baths-house, the old fortress walls, the ruins of VII century church.
