Sunrise and sunset in Angola do not differ significantly throughout the year. The reason for this is the proximity to the equator. Thus, the sun swings north in the middle of the year and south at the turn of the year, without moving too far away. In countries like Canada or Norway, on the other hand, the difference is much more extreme.

At around 12:40 hours, the longest days in Luanda are in December. The shortest days, on the other hand, are just 60 minutes shorter on average in June but start around 60 minutes later

Currently, at the end of September, the sun rises in Luanda at 5:55 am. Sunset can currently be seen at around 6:04 pm.
