Shall we explore one of Buenos Aires’ beautiful museums? 😍
The Isaac Fernández Blanco Museum of Hispano-American Art () has two locations. One is Casa Fernández Blanco, in Congreso neighborhood, dedicated to art and design from the 19th century and the early 20th century. The other is the one you can see in the photos 📷, located in Palacio Noel, in Retiro neighborhood. Entirely devoted to colonial art, it’s an incredible place to learn about part of South American history.
In addition to its collections of silverwork, religious imagery and ornaments, and Ibero-American furniture from the 16th to the 19th centuries, it also features books, engravings, ceramics, and musical instruments. 👌🏼
Its architecture deserves a special mention. The Hispano-American neo-colonial style building was designed by architect Martín Noel, and its beautiful gardens are inspired by Spanish design. 🌿
