You might forget the names of every road you drove.
You won’t forget how Namibia made you feel.
The silence at the top of a dune before sunrise.
The first glimpse of the desert stretching further than your brain can process.
The windows down on the Skeleton Coast. Dinner beneath a sky crowded with stars. Sand in places sand had absolutely no business being.
And the people beside you through all of it.
The ones who shared the long drives, changed tyres, passed snacks through car windows and laughed with you when the plan inevitably became something else entirely.
Namibia stays with you because it makes life feel enormous—and, somehow, beautifully simple.
Work during the week. Cross landscapes that look like another planet on the weekend. Come home with friendships that outlast the dust on your suitcase.
It isn’t only a place you remember.
It’s a feeling you spend years trying to explain.
