This caracara was making the most of a mara (similar to a hare) fallen victim of roa dkill in Torres del Paine - Patagonia. Maras can weight anywhere between 8 to 16 kilos. The caracara couldn't take off with the ambitious cargo but it kept leaping away on 3-4 meter short flights until he got away from us...
