..you'll love your Chalet Experience @ Doug's Chalet!! In winter, book the whole chalet for 10 mates for a week of games, sports, debauchery and a fair bit of relaxation too... (and for the rest of the time it's like being with 10 mates anyway... you can book a spot in the 4-bed dorm, or take the private twins or double rooms if you're mates / couples, and everyone gets to know each other quickly :)

Throughout winter you book out the whole 10-bed chalet just for you, (contact us if you have slightly more / less people); for the rest of the year you can book individual rooms (ie for 2 people and up). Prices start from £180 per person per week, and if you find anything even close to what we offer here for that price, we'll eat our impact shorts!! It's so much more personal than checking into a hotel... we'll sort your flights out or tell you who gives the best deals - if you want; do airport pick-ups and drive you places - if you'd like that; teach you to ski/snowboard/climb/swim - if you need it. What we're trying to say is that we take the hassle out of everything, because we're nice like that - and to be frank, we're just simply good at it! Clearly, Chalet Experiences believes in value for money.

Chalet Experiences' founding accommodation is at Doug's Mountain Getaway in the ski resort of Schlick 2000, within Fulpmes village. Its location is hard to beat: Nestled within one of Austria's most spectacular valleys - Stubaital, it is surrounded by impressive mountains, is but a few minutes' walk from the slopes, a 10 minute drive from the mountain city of Innsbruck (dubbed, for good reason, the heart of the Alps), and literally surrounded by activities of all kinds - ranging from doing the Olympic bobsleigh-run to paragliding right over the village. Your chalet host, for when you need that inside knowledge, can take you on all the most stunning hikes and mountain bike trails; point you towards the cutest traditional mountain huts and restaurants; advise on the best free-skiing in the area, where and when local events are kicking off, which après-ski joints to hit up, and drive you around for some crazy day-trips. We make your experience as fun as possible - we have cold beers in the chalet, a wicked chill-out lounge (with very impressive Dolby 5.1 surround sound), themed bedrooms... even our Getaway Van is a 8-passenger seater with pumping speakers & a cooler in the boot! To summarise, Chalet Experiences has dedicated everything to make sure you're going to have a silly grin slapped on your face all week, whichever season you choose to come and stay at The Getaway.
