Hey world! I know it’s been a while 😉 I’ve closed an old chapter in my book of life and have opened a new one 🥰 Lately I’ve been feeling on top of the world and rediscovering things I’ve once loved. And also a new side of myself.

After traveling, getting sick, reconnecting with certain family, and moving into a new house, my world sort of got shaken up. 🌎 Not in a bad way by any means. But I definitely struggled with reverting back to the usual Carolina.

I’ve been fighting hard mentally to get back into my old positive habits. 🙌🏽 Working out 💪🏽, writing in my gratitude journal📔in the morning, saying my affirmations✨, setting my boundaries on when I need to work📋, and setting time for myself to also play 🎮

But on top of the usual Carolina, I have also grown in so many ways. 😊My goals have changed. My outlook on life and business has evolved. The things I thought mattered no longer do. So I’ve been seeing things from a different lens. 🔎And to me, this lens is a lot clearer.

I owe it all to taking a much needed break. To stepping back and finding ways to see me and my aspirations differently. Sometimes when you’re in too deep, it can be difficult to see what needs changing. I’m grateful I had the opportunity to do so and pause the grind for a moment.

Anyway, just thought I’d share what’s on my mind with you beautiful people! 😉 I hope everyone is well and thriving.

The Gate of Heaven at Lempuyang Temple in Bali is a great photo opportunity 📸 but if I could do Bali all over again, I would skip it. 🙅🏽‍♀️

This may be an unpopular opinion but I felt like it was a super tourist trap. While beautiful, it’s super crowded. 😩And they charge you to take the picture. 💰 Plus you could wait over an hour trying to get this shot. Lucky for me, I went and did something else lol and paid someone to save my place 😂 It was a looooong drive and I did not realize what the process would be once I got there. 🤷🏽‍♀️

But of course, as travelers, we go with the flow! 😎 So I decided to get the shot anyway since I was there.

There are soooo many other beautiful and impressive temples in Bali 😍 And as many Bali trips I have planned for clients, I always skip this one unless they specifically requested it. None have missed this photo opportunity. 😅And truth be told, these type of gates can be found all over Bali and in other temples.

What I love most about spring is that it’s a celebration of life. And life is meant to be lived to the fullest 🎊

Often times we put what we want out of life on the back burner…hoping for one day when we really just need day one 🙏🏽

This spring season, try something new and I guarantee you will surprise yourself. 💯 I know for me, paragliding is something that I fear lol but I plan to try it out very soon 😖

I love Japan 🇯🇵And Kyoto was one of my favorite stops! What was interesting about Kyoto is that if I didn’t know what year it was, I wouldn’t know what year it was! 🤯 Some streets felt frozen in time. ⏳

There are so many temples and trails in Kyoto. ⛩️ This one pictured is Kinkakuji. The top two floors are covered in gold leaf. ⚜️ I love how it’s on the water 😍 It’s a great place for a peaceful walk and meditation. Even on a rainy day!

I recommend spending a few days in Kyoto for exploration👌🏽There are so many nooks and crannies! You never know where one turn will take you 🤩

When I moved to South Korea to teach English, people were worried because I don’t speak the language. 🤷🏾‍♀️ Well, I made lots of friends and had a blast!!

When I started traveling solo, people would tell me it’s too dangerous for a tiny 5 Ft tall girl. 😅 Well, I did it. And am still standing in one piece.

When I first started my travel agency, people would tell me no one uses travel advisors anymore. 😌Well, guess what? I consistently get clients from all over the country wanting me to book their travels! 🥳

If I would have listened to the negative comments, I wouldn’t be WHERE I am, and WHO I am today! 🙌🏽 It’s your turn to take the leap.

Comment “WOW” 😍 if you’d be jumping for joy too at this New World Wonder! ✨Chichén Itzá is a must see if you’re ever on the 🇲🇽Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico. 🚕It’s about a 2 hour drive from Cancun.

📸This photo is an oldie, but goodie. I had the honor of seeing this ancient Mayan site back in 2013. 😅 WHOAH! Time flies 😳 haha I wish I had videos and more pictures to show you 😞 But this was long before I thought I would ever become a content creator or travel advisor! 🤯

While this photo only shows the famous El Castillo pyramid, Chichén Itzá is huge! 💥You definitely need a couple hours here.

Back then, you were allowed to climb the 365 steps to the top. But due to a few unfortunate accidents, they banned the public from climbing 🛑I like better this way…because it helps preserve the beauty of the pyramid. And you can enjoy the view without people polluting it!

The ruins also has the largest ball court in Mesoamerica. And it shows you a glimpse of what life was like for the ancient Mayans😯 Whenever my clients want to visit the Riviera Maya, I always add this to their list. ✅

🌸 Spring is upon us! Which means it’s almost time for Cherry Blossom season! 🥳 I love the way Cherry Blossoms paint the streets pink 😍 The best place to see the blossoms is of course in Japan 🇯🇵 but many other places around the world also have them 🌎

This photo is a bit of a throwback from my time living in South Korea. They have cherry blossom festivals all around the country. 🇰🇷 I took this pic in Jinhae where you can view the blossoms along an old railway. 💕 It’s about an hour from Busan.

I highly recommend taking in the fleeting beauty of cherry blossoms 🌸 they are a reminder from nature to live in the moment and cherish every second. These delicate blooms symbolize not just the ephemeral nature of life but also renewal and fresh starts with each spring. 🎊
