When Benedikta Elisabeth / Montafon Haus teamed up with Vipp , Nordic design moved into the cosy Stuben. The new kitchen block, the sofa and the swivel chairs fit the old Montafon house – and its host Elisabeth – as if they had always belonged together.

Somehow, Benedikta got an upgrade without letting go of her soul. And she still works her magic in every corner, especially on the bench outside. We sit there, breathing in the scent of the peonies Elisabeth arranged on the table in front of us. Looking over the herb garden and the blooming meadows beyond. Looking into the air. Realising that things can probably wait until tomorrow.

Thank you for inviting us into this new chapter. Beautiful as ever.

A beautifully restored farmhouse Haus Mannenberg with an old soul. Gstaad remains within sight, but nowhere near. Outside, meadows, farmhouses and the occasional cowbell.
