A conversation about music, travel, and the beautiful connection between the two.

During Sea & Music, Daniel Hope offered our guests not only insights into his extraordinary musicianship, but also into the values that shape his artistic life.

A grand finale to an unforgettable journey.

For the final concert of Sea & Music 2026 aboard EXPLORA I, Daniel Hope returned to the stage together with the exceptionally gifted young pianist Marie Sophie Hauzel — and together they took the hearts of our guests by storm.

They were joined by the wonderful Chinese cellist Chu Yi-Bing, adding yet another layer of warmth, depth and musical dialogue to the evening. And for a stunning encore, soprano Christiane Karg joined them all on stage — a moment of shared artistry that brought this special journey to a truly memorable close.

Earlier in the evening, Daniel Hope also offered our guests rare and personal insights into his musicianship, his artistic approach, and the many special connections created during Sea & Music 2026 — between artists, guests, places and music.

It was a fitting finale to a journey filled with exceptional concerts, meaningful encounters and unforgettable moments at sea.

A very special evening at the Teatro del Giglio in Lucca.

Together with Christiane Karg, La Philharmonica presented a programme as intense as it was diverse — full of colour, character and emotional depth. It was a concert that gave space to the remarkable musicianship of this exceptional ensemble, allowing each voice and each instrument to shine.

And at the centre of it all: the radiant artistry of Christiane Karg, whose presence, elegance and musical sensitivity made this evening truly unforgettable.

A night of refinement, depth and shared joy in one of Italy’s most beautiful historic theatres — and another memorable chapter of Sea & Music 2026.

In this charming historic theatre, Daniel Hope and Gabriela Montero gave a performance that moved, surprised and touched us deeply — full of intensity, intimacy and all the emotions these two extraordinary musicians are able to evoke.

Diana Damrau begeisterte das Publikum im Teatro delle Muse in Ancona gemeinsam mit dem Kammerorchester Wien–Berlin. Unter der musikalischen Leitung von Rainer Honeck verschmolzen Stimme, Orchester und Atmosphäre zu einem außergewöhnlichen Konzerterlebnis.
